Executive Team

Mike Rouse | Chief Executive Officer

Mike Rouse is the Chief Executive Officer at Synaptus and is responsible for the leadership and management of all of Synaptus business transformation practices. A start-up and turn-around specialist, Mike has achieved proven measurable results in the areas of Strategic Planning, Information Technology, Product Development, Program & Project Management and Operations & Service Delivery. Prior to joining Synaptus, Mike served as the Chief Operations Officer (COO), Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with both technology start-ups and some of the world’s largest companies and financial institutions including Toyota, Royal Bank, SFNB.com and S1.

Over the past 17 years Mike has led key turn-around and transformations that have yielded rapid results in delivering new technologies, products and services to market creating significant gains in both revenue and customer satisfaction. He has also led enterprise infrastructure, data management, CRM and operations & service delivery transformations resulting in large-scale cost reductions to both projects and continuing business operations. His industry experience includes; banking & financial services, software, on-line services (eBusiness) and management consulting.

Mike holds a Masters Degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Management and Technology and a Bachelors Degree from Mercer University in Finance and Economics.

 
Dennis Stevens | President
Dennis's profound achievement is that he has synthesized organizational, process improvement and project theories along with his technology implementation experience into a systematic and practical approach to reach breakthrough success for his clients. His background includes technology leadership, finance, and organizational psychology and development. He was awarded a Project Management Professional designation by the Project Management Institute in 1999 and is the deputy project manager of the Project Management Institute's OPM3 (Organizational Project Management Maturity Model) Second Edition standards team.

Personally, Dennis was awarded the Naval Commendation Medal by the Marine Corps during Dessert Storm and originally attended Florida State University on a violin scholarship.
